Waterfall House

The design of this house, set in thickly wooded hills overlooking a waterfall and stream pooling around boulders, was based on respect and reflection toward the enchanting yet fragile ecology. The landscape generated the sequencing and circulation of the new house- indoor and outdoor spaces had to flow and spill from one into another, much in the same manner as the pools of water do.
